Pure Block Management’s Compliance Manager George Baker has been named one of the Hull and Humber’s top 30 young professionals under the age of 30.
The ‘Top 30 Under 30’ list, announced today, aims to identify future leaders in the region, gaining them a place on a dedicated ‘LEAP’ personal development programme, designed specifically for young professionals to equip them with the skills needed to keep progressing within their businesses.
Delivered by leading business coaches, the 10-week programme aims to help young talent become effective managers and inspiring leaders, with sessions dedicated to everything from communication and confidence to leadership, ownership and resilience.
Now in its eighth year, the programme has helped many go on to secure more senior roles, such as managers and directors, within their businesses.
‘An exciting opportunity’
“I’m delighted to firstly to have been recognised and nominated by the senior team at Pure Block Management and Garness Group, but then to actually be named in the Top 30 Under 30 is brilliant,” said George.
“I know the Top 30 Under 30 and the LEAP programme has an excellent reputation and that being selected is an exciting opportunity for me to keep developing my skills.
“I’ve been fortunate to be given great opportunities in my career, including my first managerial role when I was 23 and my role now at Pure Block Management. This is another great opportunity for me.
“I think there is so much to gain from learning from external experts who can help you add new attributes to how you work individually, but also to bring benefits to the business you work for. I am sure that will happen over the next year.”
