Pure Block Management is delighted to have become a member of The Property Institute – reflecting our commitment to providing the best customer service and operating to the highest possible standards at all times.
The membership is in addition to our Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accreditation, as part of the Garness Group, reflecting how we work to the highest global standards of quality, ethics, and competence in property.
To secure The Property Institute membership our team had to demonstrate our complete commitment to professional standards, our experience, and how we manage clients’ funds properly (such as holding service charge or client funds legally and safely).
We also had to provide documented evidence of our management agreements with residential blocks, details of our terms and conditions, and of our compliance in key areas of work such as insurance certificates and complaints procedures.
‘Meeting the highest standards and continually improving’
Laura Street, Associate Director of Pure Block Management, says the membership not only offers confidence and reassurance to current clients of the business, but will also bring advantages in the future.
She says being members will ensure the team stays on top of latest industry laws and guidance, with access to a huge network of peers, industry insights, training and best practices.
“We’re thrilled to have added The Property Institute membership to our accreditations,” she said.
“We know it is something those considering using block management companies look for, as it is an indication of professionalism, quality, and a commitment to continually meeting the highest standards and continually improving.
“The important thing for us is that it’s so much more than a badge – it’s a standard you need to work to meet every single day.
“We will have to pass a Compliance Review every three years, for which we will need to demonstrate that we are complying with the institute’s high standards,
“So, whilst securing this membership is about reflecting to our current and potential new customers that we are meeting the highest standards, it is also about ensuring that, as a team, we are focussed on our clients and complete compliance at all times moving forward, and never letting our standards drop.”
